Jackson Brousseau, making his first career start, rallied Cal past Virginia Tech after the Bears trailed for most of the afternoon. The Hokies retook the lead, 20-19, on a 1-yard Ethan Grunkemeyer sneak with 1:15 left, but Cal answered with a 75-yard drive that ended on Ashten Emory's 2-yard touchdown run with 18 seconds to play. Virginia Tech got one last shot from the Cal 7, and the final pass fell incomplete in the end zone. Cal is now 3-3.
